I’m not dead…
and don’t worry, I’m not a zombie either!
It’s been a VERY busy time here at MBD, a good busy, but busy none-the-less! Most of my time has been spent creating Five Simple Step’s latest book, ‘A Practical Guide to Web App Success‘ by Dan Zambonini. I was really excited to have the chance to utilise my illustration skills for the workshop videos we released earlier this month, you can check it out here. Alongside this, I’ve jumped in to do my bit for the team on a number of exciting projects that we’re currently working on.
But that’s not all!
As some of you may know, I have been creating illustrations and starting a clothing label under the alias of Alternative Aesthetics. It’s got to the point where I really want to push this stuff out to the world and what better way to do that than create my own website for it! That’s when I had the idea to share the process and the my learning experience in creating the site (seeing as it’s related to my apprenticeship).
I know what you’re thinking…”But what the flip am I going to learn from someone who is neither dead or a zombie about making a website?”. Well, let me tell you…
- I’ll take you through the entire process from things to consider before doing anything, the design process, development, the finished thing and what to do next.
- I’ll throw in some really useful stuff that you should be thinking about/looking at to help you throughout the various stages of creating a website.
- Some expert advice from people who know what they’re talking about relating to each stage of the process.
- And hopefully some laughs along the way too…hopefully!
So, keep your eyes on the screen (not permanently though as there’s a chance you’ll go blind) for the first instalment of creating www.alternativeaesthetics.co.uk
